Lonnie's Story

Lonnie was offered a ride by two teenage boys in August 1990, as they started driving in the wrong direction, one of the teens stuck a gun to his side and told him that "this was the end of the ride, Nigger." They ordered him out of the car, kicked him repeatedly and urinated on him.  Lonnie grabbed the gun during a lull and killed both teenagers.  It was a hate crime before the term was coined and Lonnie may be paying for defending himself with his life.
